This course is available online as full-time and has been especially designed to provide students with a taste of every digital design discipline to see where their passions lie. Over 20 weeks, they will try graphic design, film-making, animation and interactive design. They will be introduced to a range of industry software and learn photography, video creation and editing, web development, character development and even a bit of coding— it’s about finding ones place in the creative world through experimentation and practical learning.
By the end of the course, students will have the skills you need to decide which Level 5 they will study next. Better yet, they will have developed a mini-portfolio with all the design assets they have created along the way.
Assessment
· There are no exams for this course.
· Students graduate with the New Zealand Certificate in Digital Media and Design (Level 4)
· Students who complete the Certificate of Creative Media (Level 4) – are guaranteed a place in a diploma or a degree, no portfolio will be required.
